Our client in Arlington, TX is looking for a .NET Developer for a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will have the following skill set:
Position Description:
To design, plan, develop, test, and document computer programs, working from detailed source data. Also may prepare program documentation and materials for end users. Developers working for the client will be expected to develop and maintain web and Microsoft based applications in support of departmental requirements and technology goals. Developers will work with some direct supervision; however, they should be able to work independently or on a small team when required.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio (.NET Framework 3.5-4.5) and programming languages including: ASP.NET, ADO.NET, web services (SOAP, JSON), Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, C#.
Should be able to build and deploy web based applications using Microsoft SQL Server database development and administration.
Will support full software lifecycle.
Familiar with Windows server platforms and IIS Administration.
PHP, MySQL, and Linux experience is a plus.
Must have the following abilities:
Establish and maintain effective relationships with management, team members, and external clients and suppliers
Willingness and flexibility to work on different and varying projects/assignments as needed
Work independently or with minimum supervision
Present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
Work and communicate with people with varying levels of computer knowledge
Accept constructive criticism from supervisor; ability to follow company policies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum 4 years application development experience. MCTS or MCPD preferred
A degree in an IT related field, and 3 years in related development environment
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
