Job Function:
Responsible for all local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) operations, design, installation, monitoring and maintenance
Responsible for LAN/WAN design, installation and maintenance
Monitoring and maintenance of communication equipment/data circuits
Document all LAN/WAN infrastructure with software such as Microsoft Visio
Research, suggest and implement technologies to improve performance
Assist IT Support Services group with connectivity and LAN/WAN related issues
Network Analyst/Minimum requirement: CCNP and over 5 years of solid network/Cisco experience and stable job history.
Responsibilities:
Person who is capable doing high level network tasks and also willing to share daily routine tasks that everyone else does.
5 plus years of network experience (CCNP required), strong network knowledge, must be the expert on the network gears, the network design and with excellent troubleshooting skills. 1 or more years of project management experience. – Planning, coordination, communication, execution, documentation and follow-up
Must be a team player and willing to share the knowledge with other team members
Communicates effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Manages internal client expectations effectively.
Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Good people skills
Self-motivated with positive/great attitude
Detail oriented and good at documentation
On-call every 3 weeks
After-hours tasks are part of job.
5 – 10 % travel may be needed.
Need to be able to lift more than 50 lbs.
Regular Working hour: 8 – 5 central
