Our Dallas, TX client is looking for a Patent Expert on a contract to hire basis.
Job Description:
The Patent Expert will assist in overseeing litigation and drafting agreements relating to litigation such as common interest agreements and settlement and license agreements if active litigation are resolved through settlement. They will lead a team of patent analysts. The successful individual will assist in discovery and development of litigation strategies. The successful candidate will also participate and support related reexaminations.
Requirements:
JD or LLM and admission to state bar preferred.
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or computer science.
At least ten (10) years experience as a patent litigation expert
Extensive experience in drafting and finalizing agreements and contracts in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas as well as settlement documents pertaining to patent suits relating to cellular/wireless technologies and computer/internet technologies
The ideal candidate will be an engineer turned patent attorney with experience in cellular/wireless technologies and computer/internet technologies
Possessing one or more patents is a plus.
