Our Frisco, TX client is looking for an Patient Care Coordinator on a contract to possible hire basis.
Responsibilities:
Enter Kaiser authorizations into Brightreee system for case tracking purposes
Contact Kaiser member to collect applicable co-pay and coordinate case release with Logistics Department
Connect Kaiser member to local dental professional who is trained in oral device therapy
Maintain list and geographical map of contracted dental professionals who are credentialed to provide therapy across Kaiser regions
Provide weekly metrics reports to Kaiser regions in Northern and Southern CA, CO
Maintain daily metrics for incoming authorizations, cases processed, claims submitted for Manager, Billing Services
Act as primary point of contact with Kaiser regional Provider Relations representatives
Electronic submission of claims for Kaiser cases into Brightree system
Processing of copayments for Kaiser members
Market to dental professionals opportunity to become Kaiser preferred providers
Assist with training and development of new employees as additional payer contracts are activated
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical office administration/support-medical billing and claims processing
BS/BA degree-preferred, not required
High level knowledge-medical coding/ billing
High level knowledge-health claims submission process
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Attention to detail, ability to maintain follow up with all stakeholders
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
