Our Rockwall, TX client is in need of a R&D Wireline Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity. Relocation is possible for this role.

Summary:
Looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience directly related to the design of wireline products. The ideal candidate would have around 10 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop new products, features and services based on project guidelines
Collaborate with other members of the engineering team on project and design ideas
Recommend approach to meet the project technical requirements
Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduling, and project commitments
Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments related to the project
Create upper level assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, and field/maintenance manuals
Work closely with customers and vendors to meet project goals
Assist with product line failure analysis and investigation
Present improvements and/or design changes to existing product line
Required:
8+ years of experience working in wireline, some of which must be design of new products
Mechanical Engineering degree
Quality Control: To participate and assist in attaining an ISO approved Quality Assurance Program.
