Our Frisco, TX client is seeking a Reimbursement Manager to join their fast pace and growing company on a Direct Hire basis.

Position Summary:
The Reimbursement Manager maintains a leadership role within the Reimbursement Department.  This individual will oversee all daily activities for a team of specialists and be a partner to the VP of Managed Care and Accounting Department in maintaining business relationships with the insurers and providers.  Must also maintain close partnership with internal stakeholders within Logistics, Sales Operations, Marketing and Field Sales as cross functional training and daily operations opportunities arise.

Job Responsibilities:
Create/maintain SOPs for billing services department, including tracking of outgoing payments to in-network providers, collection of applicable co-pays, co-insurance from patients, tracking of incoming payments from in-network insurers
Must be well versed/experienced in medical coding and medical insurance claims processing procedures
Clearly communicate services and charges associated with third party billing to current and new dental clients
Train/communicate with reimbursement team as new processes, procedures are implemented
Maintain all required internal reporting of weekly department metrics and required external reporting to insurers
High working knowledge of customized billing software system and troubleshooting of issues with reimbursement specialists
Ability to maintain strong relationships with vendors and dental clients at all levels of service participation
Maintains a high working knowledge of the billing services process including benefits verifications, pre-authorizations, claims submissions, appeals
Provides a high level of leadership and guides professional development of direct reports
Actively promotes Medical billing services to dentists who are interested in outsourcing cases

Requirements:
BS/BA degree required
Minimum 4 years of experience in health system or insurance industry – electronic claims submission and pre-authorization experience preferred
Prior management of direct reports required
High level of understanding in medical coding systems
High level of understanding-authorizations, medical claims billing and appeals-commercial and Medicare claims processing
High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills-web based and live
Highly organized, detail oriented individual with ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
