Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Risk Management Analyst for our Nashville, TN client on a direct hire basis.

OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for planning and coordinating the Company’s risk and insurance programs to control risks and losses by performing a variety of duties.  Develop, implement and manage loss prevention and safety programs throughout all departments.

EDUCATIONAL/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years in safety management with safety compliance and oversight of multiple locations.
4-5 years commercial claims loss control experience (emphasis on Workers’ Compensation) with a major insurance company.
Heavy experience with OSHA, TOSHA and Worker’s Compensation requirements and procedures.
Strong written, verbal and analytical skills.
Ability to gather data, create and document findings, implement working processes based on these findings and communicates to all employees.
Excellent project management and problem solving skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency required.

JOB DUTIES:
Interface with management and communicate key metrics in safety and loss prevention.
Implement objectives, processes or programs that support the Company direction.
Implement and administer safety and worker’s compensation program for field operations, assuring compliance with internal policy/procedures, OSHA and all other government agencies.
Develop, monitor and implement loss prevention policies.
Support and comply with Company policies and procedures to ensure that a strong, error free internal control environment exists.
Assist in negotiating insurance contracts and contract provisions.
Work closely with department managers to ensure accident investigation and corrective action programs minimize injuries and worker’s compensation costs.
Work closely with department managers to “move along” all claims to completion.
Work with the department managers to determine and implement “light duty” work for injured workers.
Primary source of contact between the insurance carrier and employees for claims administration purposes.
Maintains claims records and data bases.
Facilitates the return to work process after ensuring the employee has received the appropriate medical care.
Proactive follow up on all incidences.
Timely proactive resolutions to all claims.
Maintains and keeps up to date BFC Risk Management Program Manual.
Ensures BFC Risk Management Program is being followed, trained on and appropriately documented.
Provide monthly Loss Analysis for all lines of insurance.  With specific emphasis on Worker’s Compensation and Auto.
Ensure all plans are in compliance with OSHA and state OSHA’s.
Maintain all requisite documentation (e.g., OSHA Log) according to legal requirements.
Follow up on safety activity and remediation actions on workplace issues found.
Identify training opportunities in accident prevention areas and maintain the safety data base for the Company.
Provide guidance and support to Regional Service Managers and Quality & Safety Directors in the administration of loss prevention and safety programs.
Field visits to ensure safety programs and techniques are being followed.
Observes employees at work to determine compliance with safety precautions and safety equipment used.
Investigates causes of accidents to identify preventative safety measures for incorporation into the safety program.
Writes new safety work orders designed to protect workers from work methods, processes or other hazard not previously covered.
Maintains written programs and training compliance systems including working with the insurance carrier to reduce lost time accidents.
Ensure training programs adequately addresses all safety compliance requirements as well as improves our overall safety program.
Outlines and implements training programs about employee safety procedures and accident protection and prevention.
Provide monthly Safety Data to management.
Monitor and recommend alternative safety strategies in line with cost management.
Moderate travel to our remote locations.
