Our Northwest Houston, TX client is in need of a Sales ManagerInternational, for a Direct Hire Opportunity.

Summary:
To proactively market and promote the business internationally, building on key contacts and customers to develop the growth of the business.  Working with the sales team to deliver short and long term goals and objectives of the business. The target of this position will be International Sales of US and South American based clients.
Requirements:
7 to 10+ years of outside sales experience
Technical Sales Background for an Oil and Gas company
Must be professional and polished
Technical Experience (Engineering or Operations) would be a plus
International market experience or exposure to international market
Must be open to travel
Candidates who are Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or those who have experience working with companies in South America are strongly encouraged to apply

Duties:
Develop new business and maintain existing business relationships:
Generate profitable new business for the company with US based clients on their international projects via a carefully planned and executed Business Development Strategy.
Maintain and develop client relationships with the international teams within North American based operators, building a strong network of industry contacts in order to grow the company worldwide. Actively contribute to the international growth by identifying and following up on key opportunities, new business possibilities and additional revenue streams.
Actively contribute to the development of the Domestic business by promoting the company and developing leads for domestic projects at all relevant times when visiting clients.
Maintain a high market profile within the industry, positively promoting the business at every opportunity.
Discuss and plan applications for company’s equipment with clients.
Prepare and carry out technical sales presentations. .
Assist in the preparation of budgets and business plans.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales activities within international projects of North American based operators, relying on the support and expertise of company experts, product champions and resources.
Actively pursue all new business opportunities worldwide, monitoring new players, competitors and customers, ensuring the company is included on all relevant bid lists
Become ‘the face’ of the company within North American based international operating teams, actively building relationships with both customers and competitors.
Gather market intelligence, feeding back to management the trends in the industry and possibilities for new business development
Assist in preparation and submission of sales quotations and bid documents ensuring these are completed in a timely and professional manner adhering to company policies, prices, terms and conditions.
Pursue a program of customer contacts, entertaining and relationship building whilst creating, circulating and filing relevant customer reports and up keeping CRM system.
Actively travel internationally as may be required, to develop and maintain customer relationships, and deliver projects and sales targets.
Use business contact to promote company in the other regions of operations ensuring that relevant information and contacts are passed to the appropriate person.

Provide Technical Advice:
Liaise with the Engineering Department on project-specific applications for client requirements.
Assist in the engineering content required for technical proposals.
Provide support to offshore / onshore personnel within your area to ensure highest level of operations are achieved throughout.

Exhibitions, Conferences and Corporate Hospitality:
Attend conferences and exhibitions as required.
Assist with the coordination of requirements for the exhibiting team as required.
Attend corporate events as and when required.
Liaise with the Marketing team to decide the type of corporate event required.
