Our Dallas, TX client is in need of a Sr. IT Consultant on a Direct Hire basis. The ideal candidate is a professional that is technically sound in all facets of troubleshooting HW and SW, with a true Customer Service attitude. The ability to see the full range of IT solutions is valuable in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Implementation of best practice procedures for Compellent SAN’s and network architecture design, development, implementation, and maintenance/support
Citrix Support and Level 1, 2, or 3 troubleshooting with 24/7 support experience
Windows, Terminal Services, Active Directory and GPO design and troubleshooting
Implementation of vended and non-vended applications to run in a Terminal Services and Citrix environments
Implementation of Active Directory
Implementation and/or support of Exchange 2003, 2007
Implementation of virtual environments using Citrix XenServer and VMware vSphere
Implementation of highly available and redundant IT infrastructures
Manage projects and vendors
Manage, upgrade, maintain network infrastructure with many various servers
Required:
Bachelor’s degree a plus
CCA and MCSE certifications are strongly desired. CCEA is a big plus.
7+ years hands on IT Experience
Experience supporting Citrix XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop
Experience supporting Citrix Web Interface and Secure Gateway/Access Gateway
Strong understanding of Windows 2000/03/08.
Solid understanding of Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VPN)
Knowledge and / or configuration of VMware products
Experience with network analysis tools and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent documentation skills are required and the ability to make presentations to a technical audience when necessary
Installation and configuration of Enterprise SAN products
Strong understanding of Active Directory and GPOs is desired.
Experience as a lead consultant in designing and deploying Windows 2008 and Active Directory projects a big plus.
Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
