Our Austin, TX based client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a direct hire opportunity.
Duties include:
Develop and maintain scientific application software and firmware
Provide technical support to employees and customers related to the software
Develop application software and realtime firmware
Diagnose and fix bugs in existing software and firmware
Create and maintain installation applications
Maintain source code control for all software and related documents
Provide software technical support
Qualifications:
C++, C#, Microsoft Visual Studio
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems
Realtime programming on microprocessors
Firmware development using GNU tools (GCC, etc)
Calculus and Linear Algebra
Physics and chemistry
5+ years experience desired
