Our Nashville, TN Client is looking for a Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending to join their team on a direct hire basis.
Summary:
Examines, evaluates and authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for lines of credit, commercial loans, real estate loans, consumer credit loans, agricultural loans and SBA loans by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews, processes, closes and administers loan proposals
Interviews applicants and requests specified information for loan applications
Analyzes applicant financial status, credit and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan or submits application to credit analyst for verification and recommendation
Corresponds with or interviews applicants or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information
Approves loan within specified limits or refers loan to President of Bank-Davidson County for approval
Ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy
Maintains database and monitors performance of loans
Confers with underwriter to aid in resolving mortgage application problems
Analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for loans
Handles past-due collection accounts
Qualifications:
Must have a college degree (preferably in business, finance or economics)
Seminars in lending from recognized institute are encouraged
Must have commercial lending experience
Must have a book of business that is local (from the Middle TN area)
General math skills are required
Strong skills dealing with customers and the general public
