Our client in Frisco, TX Is looking for a Service/Process Engineer on a direct hire basis.

Are you familiar with the following: Industrial PC’s, Automation/PLC, Fiber Optic Interface, PNOZ Safety Circuits, CNC knowledge, or are you familiar with blocking prism, optical power deviation, free-form files and LMS parameters?  We need to talk.

Overview: Our client company, a dynamic, fast paced, growing, technical equipment distributor is looking for candidates to “own” the responsibility for providing “amazing” customer satisfaction through on-site machine installations and repairs. They are the market leader in multi-axis CNC processing equipment for the manufacture of optical lenses.  The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Technically Sound and Service Minded
Excellent Oral and Written Communication (interpersonal, phone, and documentation)
Proficiency with a variety of drive controls, electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
Organized diagnostics and troubleshooting acumen
Friendly, Eager, and Social – A great field representative of the company
Enjoys a fast paced, progressive environment with the ability to multi-task and deal with interruptions
Eager/Willing to travel spontaneously throughout North America to customer sites

Job Description:
Working under general and remote supervision
Commission new equipment at customer site to optimal performance
Diagnose and troubleshoot machine and process issues remotely
Provide field service, diagnostic and repair of equipment on customer’s site
Provide technical and process phone support for customers
Coordinate parts orders, software support, and other key support needs
Train customers on site in general maintenance and operation practices
Road Warrior with the love of travel (up to 70% weekday travel in peak times)
Accurately and Completely Report and Document all actions
100% new customer satisfaction through complete machine commissioning and interactive customer training
100% continued customer satisfaction through accurate diagnostics and precise repair
100% customer compliance through thorough pre-visit verification, on-site checklist, post visit documentation and follow-up.
100% company compliance through dependability and commitment to company processes and procedures.

Qualifications:
Experience to read and understand electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams and mechanical assembly drawings
Experience diagnosing control systems, drive systems, PLC systems, and PC systems
Experience in mechanical system replacement and precision alignment
Optical Process knowledge (Ophthalmic Industry) experience a definite plus.
Only candidates with clearly demonstrated credentials should apply.
High school diploma required and trade school or some college coursework a plus
5+ years of CNC mill experience
