Our client in Carrollton, TX Is looking for a Sharepoint Developer:

The SharePoint Developer III performs as a key member of the MIS team, utilizing industry experience to architect, develop, implement and maintain SharePoint. The Developer III contributes specialized technical knowledge and leadership in SharePoint and SharePoint integration application development efforts.  This role is responsible for defining technical requirements and developing solutions; on-going support for applications; designing and customizing SharePoint solutions; overseeing architectural design and integration content management, portals, collaboration, business process or other solutions; planning and implementing software version upgrade releases; troubleshooting and debugging SharePoint sites; and SharePoint customization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical and architectural specifications.
Develop code, unit test new systems functionality, with deliverables to include code builds, change management and appropriate technical documentation.
Build and unit test production deployment packages and implementation plans for scheduled systems enhancements.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the integration of Enterprise Applications.
Participate in internal testing to identify problems early, perform error and stress scenarios.
Perform code reviews for other development team members.
Identify and recommend where new technologies may be incorporated.
Evaluate and test 3rd Party solutions and features.
Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions
Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations using best practices.
Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions
Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows
Microsoft .NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform
Development of custom web parts
Design and development of Business Intelligence dashboards
Develop solutions using  BSC,  Forms Services, Excel Services, CSS, HTML, C#, ADO.NET, VB and other technologies to achieve SharePoint business objectives
Mentor junior developers
Additional projects as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred;  minimum of 5 years  development experience required
3 years hands on SharePoint development required
Strong experience working with SharePoint Architectures for Intranet and Extranets required
Understanding of SEO principals and OOD
Required Knowledge: SharePoint Server, ADO.NET, VB, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, jQuery, XML Visual Studio, SQL Server 2005, Reporting Services, InfoPath,  Business Connectivity Services, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Web Services, security, instrumentation, Exception handling, SharePoint branding and support of complex enterprise-wide solutions.
Desired Knowledge of Team Foundation Server
Demonstrated analytical abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Must be innovative and self-motivated
Flexible to work overtime when needed to meet department goals and initiatives
