Our Arlington, TX client is seeking a SolidWorks Draftsman on a contract to possible hire basis.
Job Description:
Create and maintain parts, assemblies and drawings in SolidWorks for all current products
Prepare detailed drawings from input provided, conforming to company standards
Responsible for processing Engineering Change Requests / Orders and maintaining ECR database
Will be working under close supervision of Engineering Manager and/or Production Engineer
Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of drafting experience in SolidWorks
Candidate should be able to read blue prints
Familiar with Bill of Materials systems
AutoCAD and Electrical drawing knowledge
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe
Familiarity with ANSI/ASME Y14.1 preferred
SolidWorks certifications and/or associates degree highly preferred
