Our Frisco, TX client is looking for an SQL SSIS Developer. The selected candidate will have the following skill set:
Responsibilities:
Design and implement solutions for extraction and integration of data to and from a data warehouse or relational databases for the purposes of reporting, decision support and analysis
Document and standardize ETL processes
Produce ad hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs
Optimization and tuning of ETL processes to ensure and improve system performance and reliability
Design, develop, test, tune, and implement databases and procedural database code using Microsoft SQL Server, including but is not limited to tables, stored procedures, views, and functions
Support database administration as needed
Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
Specific Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise)
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Information Technology or Computer Science desirable
Minimum 3 years experience with SQL Server 2005/2008
Minimum 3 years development experience with SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS)
Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts
Ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts and adapt quickly to changes
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with complex query design, stored procedures, views and functions
Strong interpersonal skills – must be able to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team co-operation
Demonstrate technical leadership
Must be an SSIS subject matter expert – there will be an in depth technical phone interview in order to determine proficiency
