Our Downtown Houston, TX client is in need of a Sr. Production Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity.
Major Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have Artificial lift experience as well as designing production and facilities from wellhead to the sales meter. Demonstrated planning experience and ability to handle complex projects is key. Primary responsibilities include:
Evaluating well performance and production capabilities versus budget and forecast estimates
Identifying and modeling inflow performance, artificial lift, chemical injection and integrity requirements for both production and injection wells
Reviewing and maintaining daily reports and records for production operations
Preparing technical reports for engineering and management personnel
Strong team player able to work with various groups including: Reservoir Engineering, Production Accounting, Production Operations and Regulatory
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
5 – 10 years of operations experience
Software experience with RTA, Piper, Synergy, Stoner, PHDWin (or Aries or PEEP), Rodstar and
Roddiag, OFM, Prosper WEM or Perform Nodal analysis software.
Strong background working in exploration and operations
Pipeline modeling is a must!
