Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Systems Analyst for our West Houston, TX client on a Direct Hire basis.

Your role with the company:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for managing a clearly defined list of projects in various stages of development through to completion. Daily duties would include project enhancements such as gathering requirements from proper departments, analyzing those requirements within the framework of the system, creating a request and submitting to vendor for programming while maintaining contact with the vendors on the status of various projects.
In the first few months, your time will be spent learning the LOS software and, in time, becoming a subject matter expert. In addition you will be learning the internal processes and meeting the various departments to understand their roles and needs from the system. Once comfortable in this, you would begin to take ownership of the project list and start working on new projects for enhancement. Overall, this position allows you to gain experience managing your own projects and doing so with minimal supervision.
Background Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience in LOS software would be preferred but not required
Exposure to various reporting tools such as Crystal Reports or SQL
Working knowledge of database concepts and familiar with reporting
Expertise in time management with ability to work independently
