Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Technical Business Analyst for our Nashville, TN client on a direct hire basis.

Job Duties:
Responsibility for designing/creating projects:
Identifying business needs and potential projects
Facilitating and documenting results of visioning sessions
Formulating and defining project scope and objectives based on user needs and business requirements
Obtaining consensus and approval to proceed via approved project documents (Charter, Budget, etc.)
Creating and following a technical solution delivery methodology
Prioritizing and scheduling projects in the IS Roadmap

Responsibility for managing projects:
Maintaining all required project documentation including
Detailed project plans
Task lists
Schedules
Change control
Project scope/deliverable changes
Process Flow, Diagrams, Specifications, Charts
Scheduling and coordinating resources including vendors and internal associates
Maintaining accurate project information, including task, deliverable, and budget status
Performing technical and user experience testing
Providing weekly and monthly project updates to IS leadership
Preparing transition from project to product/platform, including as-built technical documentation, and support/maintenance plans
Delivering completed projects that satisfy all requirements, on time and on budget

Responsibility for project close-out:
Validating all deliverables and confirmation with the customer
Preparing close out documentation
Facilitating and transitioning sign-off from production support team

Responsibility for Information Systems/business relationships:
Building and maintaining relationships with business department leaders and associates (e.g. Operations, Customer Service, Safety, Training, etc.)
Proactively gathering requirements and feedback about ongoing projects.
Reporting to the business regarding weekly metrics, project status, etc.

Requirements:
Deep hands-on experience in several enterprise systems technologies & platforms (virtualization, servers, storage, configuration management, messaging)
Experience with a combination of on-premises and SaaS/Cloud infrastructure.
Demonstrated progressive experience in enterprise systems/infrastructure teams collaborating with an application development group
Demonstrated process improvement in previous roles (TQM, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Understanding of ITIL, preferably including ITIL certifications
Understanding/Participation in project management methodology
Experience with Analytical/Organization tools (Excel, SSRS, Crystal, etc.)
Experience implementing complicated technical projects/implementations (preferably as a direct technical resource)
PMI, ITIL, MCSE certifications (or similar) desirable
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a hands-on technical role such as Systems Administrator, Network Administrator
Minimum of four (4) years of accredited college work with a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or similar; degree requirements may be waived with significant related and demonstrable work experiences)
