Our Rowlett, TX client is looking for an Web Master on a contract to possible hire basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Looking for someone to come in and make it possible for customers to purchase online, ask questions about products online, and tweak the UX layout of the site.
After this is complete, the WebMaster would be responsible for daily updates with new products, promotions and company details.
Qualifications:
2+ years in Web Design/Development
Must be able to take direction from owner with a passion for web design
Needs to have an understanding of how a website can enhance sales with a profit mindset
Must be able to work flexible hours i.e. 30 hours one week to 50 hours the next. The owner will allow the Developer to work as much as they want as long as the work is producing profit. If/when the candidate is comfortable, they will be responsible for working and coordinating efforts with the SEO firm
Needs someone that is ambitious in furthering their career in design/development
.NET experience would be a plus for custom development and enhancements
PHP, HTML/XML, etc. would also work technically as the right candidate would take ownership of the site and design it to run as they see most efficiently fit.
Strong communication skills are a must to communicate internally and externally
Customer service attitude is a must
Current on-going education or a Bachelors in a Computer Science related field is a huge plus
