Our Downtown Fort Worth, TX client is seeking a Department Lead on a contract to possible hire basis.

Job Responsibilities:
Observe rules governing privileged communications and confidential information
Responsible for the supervision and all functions of assigned departments
Assist with coordination and delivery of services to members
Assist Director and Attorney Supervisors with problems relating to delivery of services to members
Implement and monitor policies and procedures in assigned departments
Monitor workloads and reassign as necessary to ensure timelines are met
Maintain reports on staff statistics and take steps to improve performance as required
Create and maintain various lists and reports as required
Determine equipment and supplies needed to support staff in their duties
Training of new administrative employees within assigned departments
Hold monthly meetings with each assigned department
Develop and update training materials for departments as required
Work closely with Director to monitor employee performance, coaching and counseling as needed
Assist in development and implementation of employee incentive programs
Monitor employee attendance
Assist director with interviewing and hiring personnel
Act as back-up for other assistant directors

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent plus some college coursework
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good telephone communication skills including ability to convey courtesy and professionalism to caller
1+ years of management and/or supervisory experience required
Typing 55 words per minute
Accuracy, attention to detail and speed required
Proofreading skills
Experience in word processing and database software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience with office equipment such as scanners and fax machines
Strong prioritization, organization and multi-tasking, including the ability to prioritize and take appropriate action at beginning of day and re-evaluate and re-prioritize as day progresses
Must be self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision
Ability to follow instructions and work within policies and procedures and deadlines
Ability to lead a team, carry out supervisory tasks, motivate personnel and keep employees on path as envisioned by executives
