Our Irving, TX client is seeking a contract to possible hire Accounts Payable/ Collections Manager.
Principal accountabilities and essential duties:
Lead the accounts payable and collections teams
Develop collections process
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices
Produce accounts payable reports and collections reports
Manage the A/P close process
Work with A/P team to produce monthly accrual list
Manage online reporting system
Produce 1099s annually
Ensure strong internal controls
Assist with preparation for annual audit
Continually monitor and improve systems to make the department more efficient
Work closely with accounting and A/R staff
Requirements
At least two years experience managing a team of at least three employees
Full-cycle A/P experience
Paperless A/P experience
Online expense reporting experience
General ledger coding experience
Experience with reconciling receivables ledgers
Experience with collections reporting
Intermediate or advanced user of Excel
Good interpersonal skills
