Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our NW Houston, TX client on a Temporary basis.

The corporate team is looking for an individual who can assist in getting the accounts payables caught up but are also looking for the right people to add to their growing team. This is an opportunity to show how well one would fit with the team in the long run.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of recent experience in Accounts Payable, pays close attention to detail, has a great customer service attitude, and is self-motivated.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and enter invoices – scan, code, enter, file
Ability to handle high volume – approximately 250-500 invoices per week
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice receipt and payment
Monthly statement review
Properly code invoices to correct state and store number
Ad hoc general office duties to include: preparing documents, making copies, scheduling meetings, maintaining files, etc.
Requirements:
High School Diploma is required, some college is a plus
2-3 years of recent experience in Accounts Payable is required
Strong Data Entry (10 Key)
QuickBooks experience is a plus
Position requires ability to work well with a team in a close environment
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
High attention to detail
Strong work ethic with ability to work under little supervision
