Our East Texas client has an immediate need for 2 Application or Sales Engineers for their facility located close to Longview, TX.
§ Must have BS degree in Petroleum Engineering
§ Experience with Downhole completion and secondary recovery
§ Established connections with decision makers in Downhole completion and secondary recovery
Penetrate the end user market to influence both the specifications and the buying decisions of the owner. Specific emphasis will be on researching each targeted account, developing relationships with key individuals and influencing the decisions throughout the entire buying chain.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES, include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
§ Strengthen and improve Domestic & International markets and market shares.
§ Sales forecasting for budgeting and S&OP planning.
§ Develop and maintain (at least every 90 days) research on potential end users via an End User Profile in the End User Database.
§ Facilitate the relationship between the end user and the Company. This includes onsite installation training and/or inspection, cost justification, project support, national account support and quote follow-up.
§ Develop the detail planning and execution of tactical goals to strengthen Companies spec position in the market.
§ Know the plans and needs of key national accounts and actively take steps to ensure that we are the specified product.
§ Resolve questions from key customer decision makers, contract engineers, specifiers, and contractors.
§ Assist sales/marketing group in activities such as sales promotions, training or market research in planning and executing special projects.
§ Works closely with the quotations department by providing follow-up and influencing end users on project business.
§ Fully understand all competitors.
§ Maintain relationships with key trade organizations (SPE, API, NACE, etc.)
§ Arrange and conduct Lunch & Learn Seminars with existing & potential customers…
§ Responsible for driving Self-Managed Performance (SMP) program through organization through self-motivation, initiative, and participation.
§ Provide technical support to sales force and / or customers.
§ Maintain/Update product design specifications.
§ Participate in Physical Inventory as required.
§ Other duties and projects as directed by management.
