Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Benefits and Wellness Program Specialist for our North Fort Worth, TX client on a direct hire basis.

Summary:
Perform Human Resources related duties at the professional level.  Will carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: benefits administration, worker’s compensation, WC regulatory reporting, OSHA reporting, FMLA Leave administration, and internal Wellness Program proponent.

Job Responsibilities:
Must be knowledgeable of and familiar with all benefits plans and must understand how they are to be administered.
Must be able to provide explanations for employees’ questions regarding any of the benefit programs.
Should monitor participation on ancillary programs and provide information to HR Director.
Administers all employee welfare plans including: employee enrollment, will audit employee benefit information that has been entered into the payroll system, forwards all information to Broker/Vendor for distribution to specific vendor sites.
Works directly with Sr. Payroll Coordinator auditing and preparing all welfare benefit invoices for payment, and must provide customer friendly assistance to employees with changes and questions regarding benefits.
Coordinates and facilitates annual open enrollment for all benefits programs.
Conducts all New Hire Orientation presentation for Benefits enrollment.
Responsible for the FSA administration participation & tracking when appropriate.
Understands COBRA laws and monitors participation accordingly.
Administers 401k plan as that pertains to employees’ questions, facilitates all paperwork, and coordinates appropriately with payroll.
Will establish a relationship with 401k Administrator and will work closely with their team in order to assist employees.
Administers Worker’s Compensation claims and FMLA Leave approvals.
Handles all first reports of injury for Worker’s Comp claims and files documentation accordingly.
Works with the appropriate Payroll Coordinator to assist in the tracking of FMLA time and appropriate coding of payroll entries.
Responsible for the coordination of communication to employees regarding the Wellness Program.
Works closely with HR Director on this communication and executes communication in all forms such as Newsletter, printed material (posters & flyers), and emails which have been approved by the HR Director.
Will be the internal proponent of the Wellness Program.
Interfaces with employees and supervisors regarding interpretation of policies; intercede where complaints or problems arise by referring issues to HR Generalist or Director as appropriate.
Serve as HR department representative for company committees as assigned.
Will be responsible for maintaining all employee medical files.
Generate reports as requested on benefits statistics, participation, and performance of vendors.
Make recommendations to Director for improvement on welfare plans
Must understand how benefits will coordinates with payroll and must communicate all benefits changes, additions, terminations, etc. to the payroll coordinators for proper deductions and billing.
Must continue to report all changes to Broker company.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree required – in Human Resources (preferred)
4-6 years progressively more responsible experience in HR
4+ years’ experience in benefits (in an HR environment) is required
Requires in-depth benefits and wellness program knowledge and experience
Must have the ability to solve complex benefits problems by identifying and recommending solutions and best practices
Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and guidance in only the most complex situations
Ability to act as a Benefits resource and advocate for colleagues
