Our South Houston, TX client is in need of an Contract Review Manager on a Direct hire basis.

Position Summary:
The Contract Review Manager is responsible for all contracts and credentialing of contracted business. The Contracts Review Manager is responsible for the planning, development, tendering, appropriate approval, and award/execution and post award administration of various contracts. The Contract Review Manager is in charge of all contracts made by a company to insure that no one makes a contract or signs a contract that does not comply with the company’s policies along with any government rules that might apply. The Contract Review Manager does have other administrative and analytical duties as required.

Essential Functions:
Gather financial and insurance based submittal required documentation for new customer MSA’s
Manage new customers legal agreement process utilizing company standard MSA if new customer does not have a standard agreement format
Pull Dunn & Brad reports to ensure credit review process is completed on all new customers
Set-up New Customer records in Viewpoint after review
Issue Customer MSA and or Project Specific COI’s and ensure they are maintained on the O drive & PVault
Coordinate contract delivery methods (hand, fed-ex, email, etc.)
Ensure appropriate signatures are obtained on all Contract and Review Sheets received and/or Contracts delivered to a customer
Maintain original contract files in office and in the system
Oversee contract and proposal review process following award of construction projects
Document scope of work and schedule for contract jobs awarded are adhered to by company
Provide all back-up for job number setup to AR once project is awarded
Ensure bonds and permits are obtained if required
Search properties/logistics if needed for projects awarded
Assist with remote operation planning, coordinate with HR, IT, and Purchasing Managers
Monitor WIP reports and keep Project Management up to date
Ensure internal Sox compliance documentation is being met/adhered to by company for contracts and projects awarded
Work with Department Managers and IT Manager on employee access and training setup with View Point and PVault systems for JCG compliance
Respond to credit inquires on our customers from vendors
Monitor companies Dunn and Brad Street Score
Work with purchasing and accounting to assure compliance of all subcontractor agreements, and insurance documentation
Work with Program Manages and AR Group to ensure deadlines and schedules are met on contract projects (i.e. invoice submittals, status reports required, completion affidavits, etc.)
Other duties as requested by management

Minimal Job Requirements:
Experience in the field of contracts and legal experience, specifically in oil and gas or pipeline industries.
Three to five years of professional-level contract experience with SOX compliance
Must show proficiency with contract language, copyright principles and computer systems.
Must have excellent writing skills in order to write contracts but also to do communication with clients and office personnel.
Ability to work with team members, under pressure, and achieve deadlines and end-of-the-month results consistently.
Suitable mental aptitude to compute business math formulas and to enter financial data and other information into PC programs, as designated. Ability to compose letters and memos as directed. This position will require a self-starter that can meet or exceed deadlines.
