Our client in McKinney, TX is looking for a corporate recruiter:

Job Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for the full cycle recruiting process; interviewing, testing and referring applicants for clerical, technical administrative and management positions throughout the Company using internet job postings, newspaper advertisements, job fairs, colleges, etc.  Considerable skills in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company’s organizational structure as well as extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Primary duties & responsibilities consist of:
Develop relationships with hiring managers/supervisors to ensure successful fulfillment of staffing needs.
Recruit candidates internally and externally for positions at all levels.
Develops and maintains network of contacts with 3rd party vendors and business partners such as, search firms, employment agencies and college placement offices to help identify and source qualified candidates.
Develops and coordinates internal and external job postings
Develops recruitment strategies to proactively source and recruit the right talent.  Researches, recommends and implement recruiting techniques as needed.
Reviews and screens applications/resumes and phone interviews candidates to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.  Provides candidates information regarding the organization and the position.
Scheduling candidates for pre-employment testing and arranging interviews with the hiring manager.
Conducting pre-employment testing, background/reference checks and scheduling drug screens.
Extending job offers to selected candidates.
Entering candidate information in Lawson and updating the Applicant Tracking System.
Handle all administrative functions of the job including candidate tracking and weekly status reports.
Conduct New Hire Orientation
Work closely with the Hiring Manager and Employment Manager, assist in writing and developing job descriptions and identifying competencies as needed.
Performs other duties and special projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Must be extremely perceptive and capable of relating to individuals at all levels.
Must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the public image of the Company.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative and drive and the highest level of integrity.
Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality, exhibit sensitivity, tact and diplomacy.
Must have excellent organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Demonstrated ability to drive results.
Must be a team player.
Basic PC skills required.

Education & Work Experience:
College degree with emphasis in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of recruiting experience in a Human Resource environment a must.
Experience recruiting IT/Technical positions a plus.
Experience with high volume recruiting preferred.

Physical Requirements: Heavy phone and personal contact with applicants, employers, employment agencies, and other organizations.  Heavy PC usage.  Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to stay late in the evenings or work weekends for job fairs.
