Our NW Houston, TX client is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a contract to possible hire basis. This is a fast-paced office with a stable company that is still growing. The ideal candidate will have transportation industry experience, a strong work ethic, and be looking for a long-term opportunity.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Communicate internally with Sales team
Communicate with external agencies regarding their account, delivery status, etc.
Handle other customer requests such as ship date, expedite delivery schedule & notify customer ASAP.
Professional phone etiquette
Strong attention to detail
Receive phone calls and route them to proper contact
Provide copies of invoices, information, or contacts as requested by customer.
Update invoicing reports.
Assist with ad hoc projects as requested.
Cross-train to cover other correspondents as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years experience in a similar role
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent Communication Skills
Flexible with experience working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task
Transportation industry experience is a plus
IBS Software experience is a big plus
