Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Desktop Support Administrator for our Nashville, TN client on a contract basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Customer Service Technician to:
Maintain and troubleshoot desktop computers, servers and peripherals via phone and email
Provide telephone and electronic support to users including advice and solutions to problems and questions
Record and monitor problems and questions
Provide basic support for hardware, peripherals and network access
Provide basic support for Desktop OS
Provide basic support for office productivity applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, email and other software as assigned
Provide overall outstanding customer service and be a positive and attentive face of the IT department
REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of experience working in a Helpdesk environment
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Must have knowledge of current technologies and strong analytical skills
Experience supporting desktop operating systems including Windows NT, Windows XP, OS
Experience and knowledge in working with the MS Outlook / Exchange server, password reset, authentication, remote access/VPN
Working knowledge of PC Hardware configurations and troubleshooting
Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technology
Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency regarding solving end-user issues
Must be committed to provider outstanding customer service at all times
