Our Philadelphia PA client is looking for a District Sales Manager on a direct hire basis.

The District Sales Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Company Core Business Strategy. This strategy is to achieve operating revenue goals and top line sales. The DSM is directly responsible for dealer strategy, sales performance and margin enhancement.
Reports to Regional Sales Director. Position is located in Chicago covering Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, and parts of Nebraska and Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:
Achieve Margin and Profitability targets
Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations
Develop and control operational and sales expense
Plan aggressive sales strategy to determine customer needs and competitive pricing
Support and work cross functionally with other department and intra-company disciplines that include: Engineering, Credit, Customer Service, Marketing, Research, Development, and Quality Assurance
Prepare monthly and quarterly presentations on sales performance while making suggestions to improve metrics
Provide strategy recommendations to the Regional Sales Director to enhance overall company performance

Qualifications:
Extended experience in manufacturing, sales and marketing, engineering management or finance related positions would be considered for this position.
Related Building Supply industries, Capitol Equipment Sales, IT, Computer Science or Engineering related experience would also be considered. Candidate should be able to show a career path of progressively increasing promotions and responsibilities. References as requested.
Must be a Road-Warrior and okay with 75% travel
Candidate should have a BS from an accredited college in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business Management or Accounting.
