Our Houston, TX client, located in the Jersey Village area, is in need of a Document Control, Storage and Distribution Specialist.

Duties:
Will be solely responsible for the management, control and storage of all externally and internally developed documents.
Externally developed (customers and third-party consultants) transmittals, engineering design specifications (typically 500 pages to 6,000 pages), drawings, scopes of work; document coding, routing, distribution procedures and preservation requirements; industry standards (normative references embodied in other documents); HSSE and QA surveys, requirements and forms; requests for proposals / quotations (RFP’s – RFQ’s); ISO standards / queries; contracts and purchase orders and frequent amendments to the same; meeting requests and minutes of meetings.
Internally developed transmittals, engineering design data sheets, calculations, procedures, drawings, bills of material, scopes of work; progress reports, project schedules, inspection reports, test(ing) reports, calibration certificates and photographs; document coding, routing, distribution procedures and preservation requirements; HSSE and QA data, reports and forms; proposals, reports, studies and formal root cause of failure and corrective action documents; contracts and purchase orders and frequent amendments to the same; purchase order logs and material status reports, supplier surveys, material traceability reports (MTR’s) meeting requests and minutes of meetings and a long list of company required data, forms, forecasts and the like.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a document management role, specifically in the oil & gas engineering field.
Must have very strong attention to detail and be accustomed to thinking on his/her feet.
This person should also have experience working as a gatekeeper and must be able to multitask.
MUST have excellent grammar and writing skills.
Must have a conservative and professional environment.
MUST have very strong computer skills including, Advanced Microsoft office skills.
Must be very mature and responsible.
