Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Drilling Tech on a direct hire basis.
Duties:
Responsible for creation and management of all well files in Production Access (PA) database.
Responsible for initial input of well and AFE data, sending field modules to the employees on the rig and checking the reports for accuracy.
Create and maintain AFE vs. actual reports, drilling charts (ROP, bit performance, etc.), and track rig downtime and other metrics.
Responsible for maintaining and updating the drilling schedule.
Coordinate with operations, land, and permitting to ensure that all deadlines are being met.
Maintaining and putting together vendor bid sheets.
Assisting in coding and checking drilling invoices for accuracy.
Maintaining drilling contracts files.
Creating PowerPoint slides for meetings and general day-to-day technical and clerical support.
Requirements:
At least 2 years experience in a Drilling Tech role for an Oil & Gas company
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Production Access (PA) database knowledge and experience is a huge plus.
Knowledge and experience creating and maintaining AFE reports, drilling charts, drilling invoices, drilling contracts and vendor bid sheets.
