Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Financial Analyst – Business Valuations.
Position Background:
New financial analysts will spend their first years working as a generalist on a variety of healthcare engagements. These include business and securities valuation, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and reorganizations, strategic consulting engagements, partnership structuring, bankruptcy and a variety of other services. Financial Analysts are typically members of a team that includes one Manager or Senior Manager, Principal and an Analyst. The environment is aggressive and entrepreneurial and, as such, rewards financial analysts with substantial responsibility and interaction with senior level professionals and clients. Each employee is expected to help grow the business and teamwork, creativity and new ideas are strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities:
Client financial analysis
Financial modeling
Due diligence
Report writing
Supporting senior level staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Business Administration with course work in Accounting and Finance- minimum 3.25 out of 4.0 GPA overall or 3.5 GPA in core course work
2-4 years valuation experience
Financial modeling experience – experience with Excel is required
