Our downtown Austin, TX client is in need of a Help Desk Specialist for a long-term contract position. This individual will serve as the first tier of hardware and system support for general IT assistance.

Main Responsibility:

Respond to requests from end users to assess and resolve desktop or laptop issues while performing maintenance in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Requirements:
-
At least 3 years of experience working with a mid-sized company’s IT group.
-
Knowledge of Microsoft, Apple, and Linux operating systems.
-
Knowledge of networking, including IP assignments, gateways, netmasks, and wiring.
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Anti-Virus programs, and various terminal emulators.
-
Experience with ticketing programs
-
Excellent Communication Skills
-
Outstanding Customer Service and must have be detail orientated

A+ Required
-
Network+ is a plus.
