Job Summary: Ensures integrity of data in HRIS database and processes employee data transactions in a timely manner in accordance with Company guidelines. Prepares reports, both scheduled and Ad Hoc, and maintains all employee personnel files. Facilitates training on HRIS and company timekeeping system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inputs data into HRIS database and utilizes HRIS database to generate reports and access employee information
Creates and maintains all employee personnel files and other filing systems in a manner that ensures compliance with federal and state laws
Reviews and verifies data received for accuracy and appropriate authorization
Uploads data to the company’s org chart software and publishes organization charts (OrgPlus)
Prepares a variety of regular and ad hoc reports for HR team and other departments as scheduled or requested.
Acts as liaison between HR and IT to ensure on boarding and off boarding tasks are completed accurately ; assists Payroll during semi-monthly processing and reconciliation efforts
Facilitates training on HRIS and employee timekeeping system (ezLabor)
Performs administrator duties for the company’s timekeeping system (ezLabor)
Maintains file room and ensures that new hire folders and employee paperwork are filed in a timely manner
Responds to inquiries regarding data and provides assistance to employees by answering questions
Performs other duties as assigned
Education
Associates degree or equivalent experience
Typical Experience
2+ years of relevant experience
Experience working with an HRIS, preferably ADP’s HRB product
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong initiative, follow-through, and sense of urgency
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Strong verbal and written communications skills; good facilitation skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all organizational levels
Flexible, adaptable and ability to work autonomously in a team environment
Strong customer service orientation
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Outlook)
Advanced level skills in Excel (Pivot tables, V Lookup, etc)
