Our Carrollton, TX client is seeking a HR Generalist – Recruiter.

Administers policies relating to Recruiting, Compensation and other phases of Human Resources activity by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements government regulations affective recruiting and compensation functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
Recruits, interviews and recommends applicants to Hiring Managers
Provides software upkeep on the Applicant Tracking program and provides reports as required by management.
Works with Hiring Managers to ensure that ads are placed properly, applicants are screened properly and only qualified candidates are forwarded on.
Works with our Affirmative Action Software company to ensure that appropriate reports are accurately supplied and the AAP paperwork is delivered on a timely basis.
Sets up the semi-annual review with applicable managers to review the AAP program applicable to their site.
Works with Site Managers to write the job descriptions for ELS. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and legal requirements going forward.
Research wages in applicable areas for bids as they arise.
Conducts wage and salary surveys as required.
Supervises the work activities of the HR Clerk to include training the employee, planning, assigning and directing the work of the employee. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
