Our South Austin, TX client is looking to identify a HR Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This is an exciting time for the company as they are growing quickly and this person will play a pivotal role in building the human resource department:

Qualifications:
Provide day to day employee relations management and guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, performance review management, policy interpretation, corrective and disciplinary actions).
Manage recruiting: write and post job openings, recruit via social media outlets, screen, conduct interviews, check references, conduct background checks, draft offer letters, advise on compensation and benefits.
Manage and administer payroll, time keeping, and paid time off record keeping systems.
Develop of human resource policies and procedures in compliance with changing or new legislation.
Identify training and development needs; work with managers to implement training programs.
Review and investigate employee complaints and ensure accurate and timely documentation of concerns.
Developed and deliver new employee orientation program and other educational and training programs.
Research, source and administer staff benefits; advise on compensation, plan engagement events.
Manage all personnel records in hardcopy and HRIS.Conduct exit interviews; manage all TWC and EEOC, and issues in a timely and comprehensive manner.
Manage Worker’s Comp. claims, Maintain OSHA-300 Log, accident reporting, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
The ability to personally perform in each of the above areas of responsibility
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task in complex and ever-changing environment
Experience working with a multiple-site workforce
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all business matters
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years experience in Human Resources
5+ years operational coordination and/or management experience
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
Superb interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability to prioritize workload to achieve departmental goals
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
