Our Addison, TX client is seeking an HR Manager on a contract to possible hire basis.
Job Description:
This person will work side by side with the Payroll Manager and is responsible for maintaining the HR functions in the following areas: the development, implementation and administration of policies and programs in the areas of Payroll, Employee Relations, Benefits and Compensation, and Training and Development. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Finalize and execute open enrollment plan.
Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
Assist Payroll Manager with processing monthly payroll.
Provide advice and problem resolution to employees on employee benefit issues.
Prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, and/or company policies.
Perform other related duties and/or projects as required and assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Minimum of 5 years experience as an HR Generalist, 3+ years management experience preferred
Experience with Ceridian
PHR or SPHR Certification or equivalent experience
Basic Contract negotiation skills
Multi-state/multiple branch experience a plus
Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Knowledge of federal, state and local law and regulations.
