Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Land Tech on a direct hire basis to join their well established oil & gas company.
Duties:
Provide lease analyst support to Land Department.
Process new leases, contracts, drafts and assignments including file setup, mapping and computer input.
Prepare lease agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Farmouts, Assignments, and Exhibits.
Prepare various monthly Land Reports.
Follow-up on inquiries.
Assist in preparation of various regulatory applications.
Title research and curative as directed.
Assist in preparation of various documents.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in leases, division orders, title tranfers, land software, and MS Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read and interpret maps, graphs and legal documents.
Must be a self-motivated, problem solver who can work without direct supervision
Extremely organized
