Our Plano, TX client is seeking a Marketing/Administrative Assistant to join their company on a temp to hire basis. This person will provide office support and marketing assistance for the company. This is a great opportunity for a self driven individual who loves using social media with a great creative ability.

Summary of essential job functions
• Answer incoming calls and schedule initial estimates for sales staff
• Send out thank you cards, postcards & other mailers to customers and prospects
• Data entry for accounts payables; enter purchase orders and corresponding bills
• Maintain files: vendor/client
• Monitor and order office supplies
• Create various marketing campaigns via email, social media, promotions, etc.
• Professionally update website & social media sites regularly (Facebook, Blogs, YouTube, Twitter, etc)
• Write scripts, shoot video, and edited promo and informational videos
• Keep office orderly and clean
Requirements
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Outstanding written communication skills
• Customer advocate
• Quick to learn and self starter
• Solve routine problems and exercising good judgment
• Incorporate marketing initiates in daily duties to reinforce DFW brand
• Must be able to create efficiencies in work process
Computer Skills
• Proficient on a Mac and PC
• Create/edit wordpress sites
• Edit pictures in Illustrator or other similar program
• Must be familiar with some type of video editing software
• Strong social media knowledge: facebook, twitter, etc.
Experience Required
• High School diploma
• Office admin and marketing experience required
