Our McKinney, TX client is seeking a Medical Collections Representative. This is a contract to possible hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Contact patients with overdue accounts to obtain payments
Negotiate with patients to secure amounts owed to company, and properly follow through with activity on assigned accounts
Prioritize daily to ensure collection procedures and goals are met
Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
3-5 years of medical collections experience
Solid experience with Microsoft Office programs, experience with Centricity a huge plus
Must have working knowledge of the entire billing and collection process
Exceptional phone etiquette
Must be team player; possess a great attitude, attention to detail and excellent follow-through
Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task
