Frontline Source Group  – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Outside Sales Rep  for our Carrollton, TX client on a direct hire basis.

General Job Functions:
Develop the Southern US territory of Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, for products offered by client. You will be responsible for calling on builders, contractors, architects, designers and to facilitate the sale of products along with providing specialized knowledge and support. Our Outside Sales Reps are highly motivated sales professionals who are passionate about new business development around premium products.

Summary of Position:
ARCHITECT: Reach out to architects and build solid relationships by Product introduction, education, and developing solutions for their project needs and get VIVA Railings specified.
Respond to leads and sales opportunities by scheduling appointments and meeting with potential customers for product demonstrations, to provide quotes and close sales
Call on and develop consultative relationship with builders, specifying architects and designers educate them on products and services, influence them to specify Marvin products and develop project sales opportunities. Conduct sales presentations and product knowledge meetings.
Identify effective and active local building industry organizations; be active to build brand awareness and develop relationships.  Represent the Company at industry events and trade and home shows.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, delivery, construction information, and order status and/or warranty questions
Communicate territory activity, architect and trade contacts, project opportunities, project status, competitive activity and other pertinent market and field information through CRM
Enter sales orders and verify for accuracy, correct pricing and delivery schedule
Manage and follow-up on open quotes and existing sales orders
Collect deposits and payments and provide assistance with customer account receivable issues
Act as a liaison between the Company and the customer to resolve product, delivery, warranty and other issues
Receive and store product and deliver samples, parts and products
Determine market strategies and goals for the territory to ensure comprehensive market coverage for all product brands, in all market segments; including new construction and remodels

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in outside sales in decorative railings, ornamental railings, building materials or construction related products calling on builders and contractors
Excellent interpersonal skills and experienced at using consultative selling techniques to build relationships and grow sales
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Interior Design or Construction
A road warrior with a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which includes some evenings, weekends, and overnight travel based on Company and customers’ needs
Strong computer skills including a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Office, experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software desirable
Confident, self-motivated and enjoys working in new situations
Strong presentation skills along with effective, professional and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
Calm working under pressure with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong mechanical aptitude with an attention to details, project management experience helpful
Highly competent in the areas of accuracy, organization, planning, and problem solving
