Our client in north Fort Worth, TX (Trophy Club area) is seeking a Payroll Specialist on a contract to possible hire basis.  Responsible for the bi-weekly processing and reporting of all facility payrolls through an outside payroll vendor.  

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the completion and accuracy of processing bi-weekly payrolls for each company facility.
Inputs new hires, terms, pay adjustments into the ADP payroll software.
Completes all necessary bi-weekly reports for accounting per allocation.
Distributes bi-weekly PTO reports to facilities.
Distributes various monthly reports to facilities.
Compiles payroll date for quarter reporting.
Maintains accurate payroll records not only in employee personnel files but also in processing record keeping.
Prepares for annual audits for Worker’s Comp and the 401K Plan.
Confirms and reports 401k contributions accurately transmitted each processing to the vendor.
May run out of sequence payrolls upon request.
Files payroll documents in employee personnel files.
Responsible for troubleshooting and analyzing errors in payroll system.
Contacts ADP for problems with processing.  Track case numbers and follows up to ensure completion that problems have been resolved by ADP.
Runs reports upon request from Report smith.
Completes necessary state and federal reporting requirements.
Verifies and completes employee verifications.
Acts as QC for any changes made in HR software that flow to payroll.
Trains new users in E-time software.
Troubleshoots with ADP and in house IT dept to fix problems in E-time program and system issues.
Administers logins and passwords to E-time users.
Gathers and completes quarterly report information.
Responsible for implementing and setting up new company codes in payroll.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
At least 5 years working experience in processing payroll with minimum 2 years of working with ADP products.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration: ADP or APA Certification preferred.
Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot.
Knowledgeable of multi-state payroll processing, specifically Texas and California.
Must be a self starter and independent thinker.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word.
Typing at least 45wpm.
Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to plan and prioritize work.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram, or schedule form.
