Our Brookshire, TX client is in need of a Planner for a contract to possible hire opportunity.
SUMMARY:
Creates, releases, prints and completes production orders; Schedule and research sales orders, accuracy of shipping lead-times and communication of OTD. – 80%
Analyzes backlog for on-time delivery – 10%
Manages cycle counting – 5%
Communicate product delivery and availability constraints between departments – 5%
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Functional familiarity with MRP (Materials Requirement Planning)
Good analytical skills
Able to effectively process large volumes of work, in a fast paced environment, with multiple priorities.
Customer focused, with a service oriented attitude.
Communicates clearly, able to develop effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to pursue courses designed to increase understanding of materials management in order to advance.
Good software skills in MS office; SAP required (PP and WM)
