Our Midland, Texas client in the oil and gas industry is seeking two experienced Production/Completions Engineers.
Responsibilities:
Prepares production and completion procedures for wells.
Monitor, evaluate, and analyze production information.
Prepare AFE’s and workover planning.
Provide economic analysis of wells and operations.
Provide recommendations for well stimulations, recompletions, and repairs.
Performs onsite supervision of completion operations
Identifies opportunities for new completion designs based on value-add techniques that balance reserve additions versus cost increases.
Performs post-completion analysis including: tracking well performance, documenting results and developing solutions to improve performance.
Make recommendations for artificial lift installations.
Ensures compliance with the Company’s safety and environmental policies.
Requirements:
10-20 year industry experience in completion, workover and production operations.
Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related.
Recent oilfield experience is required.
Proficient in production or completion design and operations.
Strong computer, written and communication skills.
Self-starter with positive attitude.
Knowledgeable in completion theory and principals.
Excellent communication skills.
