Our Chickasha, OK client is in need of an QHSE Manager for a Direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:
The QHSE Manager shall:
Manage the quality, health, safety, and environmental system for the organization, including the main office and field locations.
Serve as the Management Representative for the QHSE system, and have an in-depth knowledge of all of the principles of ISO 9001 and HSE standards and their application within the system.
Remain informed of changes to appropriate QHSE standards and ensure subsequent compliance by the organization.
Serve as an organizational leader in the dedication to a quality and safety oriented culture, focusing upon enhancing internal and external customer satisfaction.
Be proactive with an assertive nature toward seeking and initiating improvement efforts and problem solving regarding all QHSE functions within the organization.
Directly work with all functions within the organization including inspection, sales, administration, executive management, accounting, and human resources.
Have adequate technical product knowledge in all aspects according to standard industry specifications.
Be competent in reading and interpreting technical documents, including customer and industry specifications, and equipment operating manuals.
Provide customer support by assisting in technical information sharing, problem resolution, and order coordination.
Support customer service by resolving customer complaints and addressing other concerns, and managing the customer complaint system
Manage the document control system.
Oversee QHSE record control for the organization.
Manage the overall measuring and test equipment (M&TE) system to ensure equipment measuring accuracy.
Monitor and report to management the performance of the QHSE system, and any system discrepancies or opportunities for improvement regarding in-house and field operations which may provide continuous improvement to the system.
Manage the preventive maintenance system for production equipment and company vehicles.
Manage continuous improvement tasks including the facilitation of corrective and preventive actions.
Be competent in the use of software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and preferably the system’s current server, in order to appropriately maintain and share company information.
Be expected to effectively and professionally communicate, verbally and in written form, with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers in order to perform the duties of this position.
Be thoroughly familiar with, understand, and assist in the implementation of all of the business policies of the company, in order to support and enhance the working environment.
Understand and perform the processes as described in the position’s written operating procedures and work instructions.

Duties:
The QHSE Manager shall:
Collect, organize, and report on system QHSE objectives which are used as metrics to improve system performance.
Coordinate and facilitate the quarterly management review meetings for the QHSE system.
Coordinate internal audits of the QHSE system.
Host customer and registrar audits.
Monitor field work in ensuring operational and QHSE control practices are followed according to company and customer specifications.
Work with the company’s designated Level III Technician in further developing NDE inspection practices and enriching employees’ technical understanding and performance.
Address and assign dispositions to nonconforming product as necessary.
Conduct QHSE meetings with employees to share information regarding the status of, and changes to, the quality system.
Facilitate the development and implementation of system documents such as operating procedures, work instructions, and forms that are needed in the system.
Train personnel in the aspects of quality, health, safety, and environmental  as applicable to various positions.
Serve as a liaison with external parties such as vendors, customers, registrars, and regulatory agencies.
Conduct company business as directed by the company’s management and further develop the system in accordance with the company’s mission and QHSE objectives and goals.
Travel as necessary to conduct company business and represent the company in matters pertaining to the system.

Education:
The minimum educational requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
One to three years + of practical experience serving in the capacity of quality health, safety, or environmental management in the oil and gas industry.
