Our Austin, TX based client is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for a direct hire opportunity.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Perform inspections using the proper inspection techniques and document on quality records
Use and care of gages/equipment
Maintain customer drawings and prints. Ensure compliance of inspection records against drawings and specifications.
Maintenance of quality files and records
Qualifications:
Minimum one to two years experience in Dimensional inspection. Mandatory that the candidate has dimensional inspection. No exceptions.
Must be able to read blue prints
Must understand types of measurement, measurement terminology, and types and differences of measurement scales
Must understand traceability (product, material and calibration).
Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Be able to lift up to 50lbs
