Our NW Houston, TX client is in need of a Quality Assurance Manager.
Summary:
This person will be part of the clients Special Projects and Services Team. This business unit is looking for someone that will be able to assist them in getting ISO 9000 certified quickly. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management in updating an existing QA program; perform supplier surveys; document NCR’s and corrective action and interface directly with oil & gas producer QA representatives.
This team specializes in detailed engineering design and manufacturing of very high-integrity hydraulic power units and chemical storage, pumping and distribution systems for deepwater oil & gas production facilities. The successful candidate will be exposed to and become proficient in multiple disciplines, e.g., process, mechanical, structural, instrumentation, electrical and welding. The position represents a unique opportunity for an upward-minded individual to become uncommonly technically competent.
Requirements:
Familiarity with ISO:9000 QA standards required
Working understanding of qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis / reporting a plus, but not required
Offshore oil & gas experience highly preferred
Technical degree and / or experience preferred
