Regional Sales Manager – Richardson Texas

Our client in Richardson, TX is looking for a Regional Sales Manager on a direct hire basis.  The selected candidate will have the following skill set:

Position Description:
Partner with existing channel dealers/partners to develop and execute strategic account plans
Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to dealers and end users
Frequent hands-on contact with channel partners for pre-sales planning, forecasting pipeline, sales presentations & end-user sales
Ensure dealer partners are following clearly defined growth plans
Complete and maintain sales reports, forecast information
Responsible for driving revenue and building relationships with new & existing customers targeted at Higher Education and corporate institutions, and even state and local government as required.
Make warm and cold calls to prospective customers to promote business via the networking and relationship building skills
Stay updated on trends in the industry and marketing developments in this sector.
Visit potential customers, make presentations, identify key decisions makers
Plan business growth, identify opportunities & pursue them to successful closure
Effectively sell to all levels of management from “C” level through VP and mid-level management
Attend and manage industry trade shows and events as required

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
4+ years experience in Sales Manager/Director/VP level role
Must have experience in Luxury Home products
Proven track record of exceeding goals/objectives
Understanding of general technology is required
Knowledge of procurement policies, information technologies procurement needs, and facilities management within a large organization
Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to speed and learn appropriate technologies as well as business acumen associated to segment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to travel
