Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Sales Recruiter/Trainer on a Direct Hire basis:
The Sales Recruiter/Trainer is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of Sales Representatives for both the Inside and Outside Sales offices at the assigned location. The Recruiter/Trainer is also responsible for on-boarding and delivering training to new Sales Representatives to prepare them for their role and career.
Responsibilities:
Source qualified candidates via various avenues; internet, social media, career sites, career fairs, college campuses, and other means to attract passive candidates
Participate in ongoing networking and sourcing to establish a pipeline of qualified candidates
Conduct in-depth interviews by phone and in person, giving candidates a thorough understanding of the company and the expectations of the sales position
Develop interview techniques and methods of assessing candidates to fit the company’s culture
Partner with Directors to understand current staffing needs and forecast future staffing needs
Compile weekly/monthly activity reports, identify trends and make recommendations
Prepare new employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
Maintain professional knowledge and best practices in recruitment and training by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Maintain knowledge of federal and state employment laws
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field preferred
1-3 years in a recruiting or recruiting support function preferred
Experience delivering training is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experienced in social networking (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Extremely outgoing personality
Strong networking skills
Strong relationship-building skills
Experience in sales or sales recruiting is a plus
