Our Dallas, TX client is looking for an SAP SCM Consultant on a contract to hire basis. The selected candidate will have the following skill set:
Job Summary: The SAP Consultant will be responsible for designing and developing software to integrate Supply Chain Solution suite with SAP. The scope of work will include SAP elements such as BAPI and IDoc development, along with elements including mapping of SAP formats to the formats and vice-versa.
Essential Functions:
Analyzing and documenting technical requirements
Producing design documents and participating in design reviews
Writing code, unit tests, and build/deployment scripts
Participating in code reviews
Executing performance/scalability tests & profiling hotspots
Collaborating with other developers to design solutions and debug problems
Education:
BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain
Experience And Skills:
5 years experience integrating SAP with other legacy systems using Java.
Experience with both BAPI and IDOC
SAP versions 4.6 to 6.0
Experience with Direct Ship PO, Sub-Contract PO, and Stock Transfer Orders
SAP SCM—Supply Chain Management experience a plus
